Most workplaces are diverse and are getting more so. Laws protect many classes of citizens in the workplace, and in New Hampshire is is illegal now to discriminate in the workplace against people based on, among other things, their religion, sex, sexual orientation, nationality, race, or ethnic heritage.
Discrimination comes in many ways, and we all have to be more sensitive than ever to avoid it in the workplace, to avoid lawsuits if for no other reason. But our intent in celebrating and welcoming diversity and the differences in people who work together should far outweigh any other reason for avoiding discrimination. Besides, diversity is good business.
My Diversity Workshop deals front-and-center with diversity in your workplace, and creates a dialogue to break down barriers and walls between people. This is an exciting process that every workplace can benefit from. Instead of considering growing diversity as a problem, we should be welcoming it as the opportunity it is.

This Workshop turns what could be an uncomfortable and difficult subject into a fun discussion that gets the participants to appreciate our differences. It attempts to break down barriers between people in your workplace and bring better understanding and appreciation among your employees.
I should add that I am openly gay and have been so for over 20 years, so I contribute in a positive way and on a personal level to the dialogue in this Workshop. For all of us, it's a challenging but rewarding experience to have this discussion, and it can prevent problems in your workplace before they occur.
